Visit to the latest facilities in Calatayud
Last week the participants of the workshop: “Creation of a Rural Renewable Energy Community” were able to see the solar panels firsthand in Maluenda, Pozuel de Ariza and Bubierca. They also had the chance to talk with some of the local residents involved in the project, as well as with mayors from the different municipalities.
The JALON project aims to implement replicable models of community energy across Europe, promoting energy autonomy, carbon footprint reduction, and community engagement in sustainable initiatives. This event thus marks an important milestone in expanding renewable energy infrastructure within the Calatayud region, reinforcing the commitment to a greener, sustainable future.
