Replication Challenge

The Replication Challenge consists of a call for ideas for the implementation of regional energy communities in Spain, based on JALON principles. The winner will be selected to replicate our experience.

We encourage you to participate and get free advice to create an Energy Community in your region. We are looking for territories open to cooperation, with a territorial project that seeks equal opportunities, the fight against energy poverty and rural depopulation, and that want to produce and consume renewable energy as a driver of local development.

JALON is an initiative that proposes a new approach to address the development and growth of renewable energy community projects created and led by citizens in a responsible manner. To this end, we have designed, tested and implemented the legal, technical and economic mechanisms to set up viable and sustainable energy communities, even in areas of low population density. We want to transfer this knowledge so that other territories can benefit from our experience.
