New collective self-consumption photovoltaic project in Villafeliche and Montón
Since the end of summer and throughout this autumn of 2025, we have been promoting a new collective self-consumption photovoltaic project with a capacity of up to 80 kWp. This initiative arises from the strong interest shown by the residents of Villafeliche and Montón, two neighboring towns less than 2 km apart, which has led to the creation of the first joint project between the two municipalities.
The installation will be carried out on the roof of the Villafeliche sports center, with participation from both town councils as well as companies, shops, and residents from both localities.
CERCA has already applied for the necessary permits for grid injection rights with the electricity distributor, marking a key step towards the implementation of this pioneering initiative.
This project will not only promote the use of renewable energy, but also encourage collaboration between communities, consolidating a sustainable and participatory model for energy use in the region.
